Hamdard Institute of Medical Science and Research (HIMSR Delhi) is only one public-private medical college based in Delhi. HIMSR Delhi offers 100 MBBS & 9 PG Seats. Hamdard Institute of Medical Science was founded by Hakeem Abdul Hameed, however, currently led by Vice-Chancellor dr. seyed Ehtesaam Hasnain. HIMSR is running a 650 Bedded hospital named “Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital”.

Counseling Procedure

• Admission is through  NEET(National Entrance Examination Test) from the national level counseling authority Medical Counseling Committee, New Delhi (www.mcc.nic.in) under Deemed University Section.

 

Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English exclusively with at least 50% (40% checks if there should arise an occurrence of SC/ST and 45% imprints OBC Category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Age: 17 years or above as on 31st December of the time of confirmation.

PG Courses

• Graduation and Bachelor Degree in Medicine (MBBS)

Ph.D. Courses

• 10+2 or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any comparable exam directed by any State Board or Equivalent.
