UPTU 2018- Application form, Date, Eligibility, Pattern
AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University) was formerly known as UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) regulates UP State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). The eligible applicants will get admission in 1st year of B.Tech /B.Arch /B.Pharm/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA /MCA and in the 2nd year of B.Tech, B.Pharm, MCA courses through AKTU. This examination is conducted to offer admission to deserving applicants in all the Technical Institutions/Colleges that are affiliated with AKTU, Lucknow. UPTU 2018: Important Dates
Commencement of application process 3rd week of January 2018
Closing date for submission of applications 4th week of March 2018

The application forms will be available online at the official website of AKTU. The application procedures will starts from last week of February 2018 and ends up to last week of March 2018. The interested applicants are advised to apply for the examination on or before the last date of application.They have to enter all the required details in the application form (they have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature and left thumb impression). Applications will only be accepted through online mode. The applicants are advised to keep the print out of duly filled application form for further reference.
The applicants must be an Indian citizen. NRI, Kashmiri migrants are also eligible to apply for UPTU 2018.
There is no age limit to apply for UPTU 2018.
The appearing applicants in the final year of qualifying examination can also apply for AKTU/UPTU 2018.

B.Tech (2nd year)- diploma holders & B.Sc graduates with mathematics as one of the subject in 12th standard.
BPharm (2nd Year)– Pharmacy diploma holders.
MCA (2nd year)– BCA, B.Sc (IT, Computer Science) degree holders.
B.Tech– cleared higher secondary or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects & any one of these subjects- Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical vocational subjects.
B.Pharma– cleared higher secondary or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics/Biology as a mandatory subject and any one of these subjects- Chemistry, Biotechnology, Technical vocational subjects.
B.Arch– cleared higher secondary level or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects and any of these subjects- chemistry, engineering drawing, Technical vocational, biology, computer science.
BFA/BFAD/BHMCT– cleared higher secondary or equivalent from any discipline.
MBA- have bachelor’s degree or its equivalent & scored 50% (45% for SC/ST).
MCA- have bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and obtained 50% (45% for SC/ST). Have mathematics at higher secondary or graduation level.
MAM- cleared higher secondary or equivalent examination scoring minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
The application fee can be paid through online mode using debit/credit card/net banking.
The application fee for Male/Transgender of General category- Rs. 1000/-
The application fee for SC/ST/PH of all categories- Rs. 500/-
UPSEE 2018 Exam Pattern
There will be total 12 papers in AKTU/UPTU 2018 having MCQ type questions (except drawing paper).
Paper, I, I, III, IV and V will be held on OMR sheets only, whereas Paper VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII will be held through online mode.
The applicants will get 4 marks for each correct answer and there is no penalty for wrong answers.

UPSEE 2018 Admit card
The admit cards will be available in the official website of AKTU. The applicants can download the admit cards from the website. UPSEE 2018 Result
The expected date of the declaration result will be last week of May 2018.
Answer key will also declare along with the result.
Separate merit list will be prepared for each course based on candidate’s performance in UPSEE exam.
UPTU 2018 Cut Off
The cut-off percentage of marks for the merit of qualified candidates is 25% for general candidates.
The cut-off percentage of marks for the merit of qualified candidates is 20% for candidates belonging from SC/ST category.
Candidates will be invited for the counseling round who will qualify the cut-off criteria.
UPTU Answer Key 2018
UPTU Answer key 2018 will be available on to the official site by conducting authority.
With the help of answer key, appeared candidates can match their answers and estimate their scores.
Candidate must award marks for each right answer and deduct marks for every wrong answer according to the marking scheme.
In case if any candidate finds any error/ discrepancies in the answers or solutions, they are liable to write your grievances or ask for clarification by sending an E-Mail from your registered E-Mail ID to the University within the stipulated time period.

UPTU 2018 Counselling
It is compulsory for the successful candidates of UPSEE to appear in counseling, to get a seat in particular course.
Through newspapers and website, the qualified candidates will be intimated regarding counselling.
The allotment of seats will depend upon candidate’s rank and availability of seats.

UPSEE 2018 Syllabus
The examination is held for a total of 11 papers.
Each paper covers subject from different areas.
The Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects of paper-1 (B. Tech./B. Tech. Agriculture Engineering).
Paper-2 (B. Tech. Bio Technology) typically comprising the important topics of 11th and 12th standard.
