Established in 2013, Xavier University Bhubaneswar is a private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Bhubaneswar (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Odisha. Officially accredited/recognized by the University Grants Commission, India, Xavier University Bhubaneswar is a coeducational higher education institution. Xavier University Bhubaneswar offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Xavier University Bhubaneswar also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including as well as administrative services.

The Xavier University inherits the legacy of the 29 year old XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar), a premier world class B-School in the country. Xavier University came into being with the Government of Odisha passing the Xavier University Act in June 2013. In its endeavor to take up the tasks which are bold but necessary and which hitherto nobody has taken up, the Xavier City Campus of the Xavier University was inaugurated on July 7, 2014. Presently it hosts six Schools of management education offering Doctoral, Masters and Under-graduate programmes. History was made in October 1987 with the establishment of XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar), Xavier University’s flagship management institute which, over the past 30 years has been recognized as a premier Business School in the country. It aspires to lead the country in management education by focusing on research and innovation. Our intellectual capital rankings have been in the top five in the country consistently.
Soon after came a unique rural intervention initiative – Xavier School of Rural Management, committed to our mission of creating social value, meeting the changing needs of rural businesses, government and development organizations. The Xavier School of Human Resources Management is an exclusive course grooming people-sensitive HR leaders equipped to build sustainable organizations and equitable society. With the foundation strongly laid came the courage and strength to a new metamorphosis of a longer lasting higher level change and transformation, leading to the creation of well integrated courses with a common purpose. The University hosts a unique course of study – a School of Sustainability Management, the first of its kind in the Country and among the very few in the World, proof of continuous innovation. The University’s Xavier School of Communications is the first one in the State of Odisha and is equipped as a state-of-the-art high quality media school. The newly instituted Xavier School of Commerce is an educational initiative to provide holistic and integral career oriented undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes, fostered in a spirit of academic excellence.

FEE STRUCTURE : MASTERS PROGRAMMES
The total program fee for the programs MBA-BM and MBA-HRM will be Rupees fifteen lakh fourty thousand only (Rs. 15,40,000/-), payable in two annual installments: Rs. 7,40,000/- in the first year and Rs. 8,00,000/- in the second year. (View Additional Expenses below)

The total programme fee for the programmePhD will be:
a) Rupees six lakhs only (Rs. 6,00,000/-) for the officially/self sponsored candidates (Rs.3,00,000/- in the first year, and Rs. 1,00,000/- each in the second, third and fourth years).
b) Rupees three lakhs only (Rs. 3,00,000/-) for the partially sponsored candidates (Rs. 1,50,000/- in the first year, and Rs. 50,000/- each in the second, third and fourth years).
The total programme fee for the programme MBA-Global will be Rupees eight lakh fifty thousand only (Rs. 8,50,000/-),for the one year study at XIMB, payable in one installment. The program fee for one year study abroad will vary depending on the foreign institute where the student joins. The other expenses like airfare, visa charges, insurance, board & lodge expenses etc. at the three institutions, to be paid as per actual.

LIBRARY
The Library, as one of the key resources for the budding managers, practicing professionals and world class faculty, occupies a place of honor in the campus. From its inception, it had an enviable collection of text books, reference materials, electronic data bases and professional journals from all over the world. Over the years, it has acquired other resource materials, such as, audio visuals, working papers, annual reports, and summer projects.
The Library Information System is accessible to its users both from within and outside the campus. The library remains open from 0800 hours to 0500 hours.

While EBSCO Publishing covers nearly 6000 journals,ISI Emerging Markets provide detailed information about Indian Business and Industry. CMIE gives information about 26000 companies. Library is also having Annual Report database, which covers information on nearly 6000 companies. XIMB Library has implemented Library Information System (LIS) for automating the Library Information. This System provides a searchable web interface to locate books, and helps in day to day transaction. LIS gives answers to any query raised by clientele author wise, title wise & subject wise. This LIS is available through out the campus and from outside via the Internet.

Our charging and discharging system is fully automated through our LIS. It gives information to the users about which documents are issued in favour of them and by which date to return back.
E-Learning Centre
Library has a modern e-lab for the users for their study & research having 25 latest model computers.
Selective Dissemination of Information
Our Library provides pinpointed and tailor-made information for the different queries of the clientele.
Audio Visual Service
The application of audiovisuals in different courses has remarkably increased.
Use of educational video documents by faculty members in different programs has increased. The Library is regularly extending its audiovisual services aid to different departments whenever needed by them and in the Library itself.
Display of New arrivals:
With a regular interval, our Library displays few newly added books at the entrance of the Library so that users will be aware of those new additions. Besides, every month Library provides information on latest books through Intranet for its users.
User orientation Service:
Library provides orientation program to enable the users, to access information through different resources of library without waste of time.
Newspaper Clippings Service:
Updated Clippings of different subjects from National and Regional Newspapers are available in the library for users.
Reprographic Service
The Library is providing other information related support services like photocopying, binding, lamination etc to its users.
