Founded in 2012, MVN University is a private higher education institution located in the the rural setting of the large town of Palwal (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Haryana. Officially accredited/recognized by the University Grants Commission, India, MVN University is a coeducational higher education institution. MVN University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. MVN University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including as well as administrative services.
About the MVN University
MVN University is launched under Haryana Private University Act which has extended collaboration with reputed international universities. The university has schools of Engineering and technology, Management studies and Computer and information sciences that will provide high class UG, PG and PhD courses. We have an expert team of scientists doing research and development program in various fields such as agri-electronics, resource management, sensors for harnessing non renewable sources of energy, robotics, photonic crystals , nano-technology , cloud computing , data warehousing, data mining, web engineering, soft computing, mechatronics, remote sensing, geo informatics etc. Moreover the university offers an innovative learning system. Class room teaching is supplemented by e-Learning which enables students to access the course contents of all courses online. It is an interface that provides lecture notes, tutorial sheets, assignments, and various links for recommended reading. MVN University (MVNU) was founded in the year 2008 by the Modern Vidhya Niketan Society with the establishment of two colleges named Gopal Sharma MVN Institute of Engineering and Technology (Co-ed) and Les Filles MVN Institute of Engineering and Technology (Girls College). In the year 2009 one more MVN Business school has been added under the flag of MVNU. The university is approved by the State Government of Haryana. All the law courses got approval from the Bar Council of India.
Campus
The MVNU campus locates in the MVN Education City in Village Aurangabad on the National Highway-2 (Delhi – Agra Highway) at Tehsil Hodal in District Palwal, Haryana. The campus is spread over in 23 acres of land. The campus is 14 km away from the Palwal Railway Station. The campus placed in the National Capital Region.
Programmes
The MVNU conducts 12 academic programmes as Polytechnic diploma, Graduate and post-graduate in various disciplines of engineering, management, pharmacy, computer application and commerce. The campus also offers the integrated Dual-Degree programmes as Diploma + B.Tech, B.Tech + M.Tech, B.Tech + MBA, BBA + MBA and BCA + MCA programme. School of Law offers three years Bachelor of Laws (LLB) & five years integrated Bachelor of Laws (LLB) & two years Master of Laws (LLM).
