Ph.D.(Commerce)- Stands for Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce. Typically, Ph.D. in Commerce is a one year course, minimum eligibility for which is a masters degree in commerce. Commerce consists of a broad range of interdisciplinary branches such as Marketing, Finance, E-Commerce, Accountancy, Business Administration and Economics. Under this course, the students are required to prepare research papers as well as thesis on various topics under Commerce.

Ph.D in Economics stands for Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. It is usually a 4 year course but depends on when the thesis is submitted. The minimum eligibility is a post graduate degree preferably in Economics. The course-ware consists of Micro and Macro Economics, Money, Public Finance, Development and Growth Theory, International Trade, International Finance, Corporate Finance ,Indian Economic Policy ,Quantitative Methods in Economics etc.

M.Sc.(Botany) – Stands for Master of Science (Botany). Typically, M.Sc.(Botany) is a two year course, minimum eligibility for which is graduation in science. Botany is a branch of biology, which encompasses scientific study of plant life. Economics is the study and analysis of production, distribution and consumption of goods and services.
