At GNA University, the academic structure, curriculum and pedagogy have been designed to set the benchmarks in the global education with a system that can ensure employability, practicability and more exposure to the student and to prepare him to face the challenges thrown by the practical world and industry. Our curriculums have been designed in the way that can bridge the gap between theory and practice and classroom activities are synced with the workplace environment.
The curriculum has been designed to suit the current industry requirements. The main objective behind this is to develop knowledgeable and skilled individuals, who are job ready from day one of passing out from the university, and have the potential to lead their organizations to success in the future. The students at GNA University have been given hands on experience and they spent major of their time on Live Projects.
The structure of each programme at GNA University encompasses a rich mix of deficiency, foundation courses, core courses, elective courses, inter disciplinary course and Life skill courses. The idea is to expose students to a broad-based and integrated education, and help them acquire a multitude of skills necessary to be successful in their careers and life.
EDUCATION SYSTEM
Semester System
GNA University follows a Semester System which is in conformity with the global practices and standards. The Course curriculum of one year is taught into two semester This system promotes greater interaction between faculty members and students.
Grade System
The level of students’ academic performance as the aggregate of continuous evaluation and end term examination is reflected by letter grades on a Ten Point Scale. Letter grades (A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, F) have points associated with them in quantified hierarchy and have qualitative meaning. Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) & Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) are calculated based on the students’ performance in Semester(s), & overall respectively.
Continuous Evaluation System
Students are evaluated on Continuous basis. Continuous Assessment Criteria has been prepared by the respective Program Deans for the Continuous Evaluation of their Students/Individuals. 60% weightage is given to continuous assessment in a semester wherein 3-4 evaluation components with weightages are defined. It covers Class Test, Viva, Quiz, Case Discussion / Presentation / Analysis, Home Assignment, Project, Seminar, Term Paper, Attendance etc.
Curriculum Development
The course syllabus is first examined and evaluated by an expert committee which is then reviewed by Board of Studies of the institution for recommendations to Academic Council for approval.

All students should make use of the University Transport or should stay in the hostel. This facility has made it possible to start the classes in time and thereby helping the academic process. Our bus facilities have enabled us to maintain discipline among students.

Cafeteria of the university designed for use by staff, students and visitors is generally the most visited component of a university. It is also a place where students and faculty can take their visitors for a brief coffee break or a lunch hour visit.
