This college is directed by the UP government and the forty students for the BAMS course are permitted annually. Earlier it was known as Sahu Ram Narayan Murlimanohar Dharmarth Aushdhalaya (Charitable Hospital). After 1965 the same building was used as Aushdhalaya as well as a Temple and a Molasus Godown (sheera godown). In due course of time Temple and Molasus Godown were shifted to somewhere else.
