MH CET

MH CET is a common entrance test conducted in Maharashtra for undergraduate and post graduate admissions. The eligibility criteria to apply for UG courses under MH CET is 10+2 while for PG courses, Bachelor’s degree in any stream. DTE Maharashtra organises 4 exams under the name of MH CET –

  • MHT CET for B.Tech, B.Pharm and Pharm.D admissions. It is on May 11, 2017. Candidates can apply online till March 23, 2017.
  • MAH CET for admission in MBA. It will be conducted on March 4 – March 5, 2017. Admit Card has been released on the official website: Download MAH MBA CET Admit Card
  • MH CET Law for admission in LLB and LLM. The expected exam dates are May 20 and May 21, 2017. The official dates are yet to be released.
  • MAH MCA CET for admission in MCA. It is on March 19, 2017. Last date to apply for MAH MCA CET is February 28, 2017.

While the exam for B.Tech, B.Pharm and Law courses is pen-paper based, the exam for MBA is conducted online. The questions for each course are asked from the syllabus of the corresponding qualifying examination. For example, Engineering and Pharmacy questions are asked from Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry syllabus of 10+2. In case of MCA, the questions are to test general aptitude and knowledge of topics taught in BCA. For MBA, questions range from quantitative and logical reasoning to verbal ability.

MH CET Results will be declared in the month of May and June. Along with results, a merit list will be published based on which the centralized counselling will be conducted in the last week of June.

MHT CET 2017

MHT CET is conducted for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and allied health science courses in Maharashtra. Allied health science courses include Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences (B.V.Sc.) and Animal Husbandry courses (AH Courses).

The application form will be available in March 2017 and the exam is in May. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

For Engineering and Pharmacy

  • No age limit for admission to this program.
  • Candidates have to be Indian Nationals.
  • Candidates must have passed High School Examination/ 12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination.

Application Process for MHT CET 2017

For applying to MHT-CET 2017, candidates can fill the application forms online from February 14, 2017 till March 23, 2017.

To register for the Exam, candidates must follow the steps given below:

  1. Visit the website http://mhtcet2017.co.in and click “MHT-CET-2017 Registration
  2. On the Registration page, fill up and complete the online form which requires Personal Details and Educational Qualifications.
  3. Upload scanned copy of Photographs and Signature.
  4. Download the MHT-CET-2017 Bank Challan.
  5. 48 Hours after the registration and downloading the Bank Challan, visit any SBI Branch and pay Application Fees.
  6. 24 Hours after submission of Fees, visit registration page and check if the Bank transaction ID and date of payment have been updated.
  7. Keep photocopy of Bank challan, MHT-CET-2017 Registration Confirmation Page printout and note the MHT- CET-2017 Registration No. and password.

When registering for the first time, the candidate will be prompted to enter his/her valid email id, mobile No. and a password on the first login. The candidates hence must have a valid email ID, mobile number which must remain active till the completion of admission process. Candidates simply have to fill in the Personal Details and Educational Qualifications as accurately as possible.

Instruction for uploading photograph and signature:

  • It is important that candidates keep a scanned copy of their passport size photograph and signature ready before filling the application form.
  • For the photograph, take your recent color passport size photograph digitally. If the face of the candidate is not clear, the application would be rejected.
  • For the signature, the candidate should sign (no capital letters) on a white paper with a black ink pen.
  • The file size of both photograph and signature must be 50 kb per file. If the size is above 50kb, it will not be uploaded to the application.
  • To reduce the size of photograph and signature, candidates should crop both the images in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor.

The application fees for the MH-CET exam could be paid in the following manner:

  • Candidates will have to download and print the MHT CET bank challan on an A4 size paper on a single page. The printed bank challan is in two parts.
  • For paying the admission fees, Candidates will have to take this bank challan to any SBI branch after 48 hours of registration.
  • At the bank, the candidates will make the payment. The fees for MHT-CET 2017, Rs.860/- INR for Open Candidates and Rs.660/- INR for Reservation Category cbandidates.
  • After 24 hours of making the payment, candidates must log into www.mhtcet2017.co.in to complete the registration for MHT CET 2017.

It is advised to keep a copy of the Bank challan, MHT CET2017 Registration Confirmation Page printout.

MHT CET 2017 Exam Center

The exam will be conducted on Thursday, 05th May 2017 in the following cities: Mumbai, Mumbai Sub Urban, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurga, Jalgaon, Dhule, Nandurbar, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Osmanabad, Nanded, Parbhani, Latur, Hingoli, Buldhana, Akola, Washim, Amravati, Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli.

  • The MHT-CET examination center will be the same district from where the candidate has passed / is appearing for the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12thStandard examination.
  • Eligible students who are passing qualifying examination from outside the state of Maharashtra, the Commissioner State CET CELL shall allot the examination center.
  • The center of examination for candidates who have passed their HSC (12th Std) or equivalent examination from an institution situated outside the State of Maharashtra shall be the district/headquarter of the Divisional Authority where they have submitted  MHT-CET 2017 Application Form.
  • Please note that the center once allotted by the Commissioner State CET CELL shall not be changed under any circumstances.

MHT CET 2017 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

MHT-CET is of three hours duration. The total number of marks is 200 and questions will come from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. There will be no negative marking.

MHT CET 2017 Result & Counselling

For MHT-CET 2017, Results will be made available to candidates on June 01, 2017. Candidates can download the results from www.mhtcet2017.co website. The counselling and seat allotment process for MH CET 2017 would be conducted through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). The students will have to fill their choices through online option form and based on their rankings in respective entrance exams would be allotted seats at various institutions in the state of Maharashtra. Candidates will have to constantly visit the official websites for updates and information. After the results are declared, students would be able to see and download Merit List on June 14, 2017.

The Merit List would be utilized for the selection of candidates to Engineering,Pharmacy and Allied Health Science Colleges under MH-CET.

  • Admission to Engineering and Pharmacy colleges under MH-CET will be based on CAP which is carried out by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.
  • The marks/score obtained in MHT CET will be used for preparing the merit list.
  • Candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list will be required to fill Preference form which will be made available from the regional center allotted to the candidate. Candidates without preference forms will not be allowed to sit for counselling.
  • The Counselling Process includes Document Verification, Demand Draft of part payment of non-refundable fees, Choice filling, choice locking, and allotment of seat and admission confirmation.

MAH MBA CET 2017

MAH MBA CET is conducted for admisison to MBA programs offered at state run management institutes in Maharashtra. The application process has begun from February 12, 2017. The exam is conducted in online mode and has MCQ type questions.

MAH MBA CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

For admission to MBA/ MMS, students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university in India.
  • Candidates who have appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017/CAT 2016 (conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT(conducted by GMAC, USA)/ CMAT 2017 (Conducted by AICTE)/MAT(conducted by AIMA)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS) are considered to be eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

MAH MBA CET 2017 Application Process

Candidates looking to apply for MAH MBA CET 2017 can apply online on the official website from February 12 to 23, 2017.  When registering for the first time, the candidate will have to enter their valid email id, mobile number and a password. To upload the scanned copy of Photo and signature, candidates must do the following:

  • It is important that candidates keep a scanned copy of their passport size photograph and signature ready before filling the application form.

  • A fee for this Exam is Rs. 1000/- INR for Open candidates and Rs. 800/- INR for Reservation category candidates.
  • After submitting your payment information in the online application form, do not refresh the page and wait for the page to load.
  • When the payment is successful, an e- Receipt will be given to the candidate that has to be kept safely.  Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful.

MAH CET 2017 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

MAH-CET is a 2 hours and 30 minutes exam which has four sections in the question paper. The exam is of 200 marks and has a total of 200 multiple choice questions from topics like Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension. There will not be any deduction for incorrect responses.

MAH CET 2017 Result

The Commissioner State CET CELL will conduct the examination, evaluate the answer sheets and declare the results for all exams. For MAH-CET 2017, results will be made available to candidates on 29th March, 2017. Candidates can download the results fromwww.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba2017 website.

MAH-CET 2017 Counselling

Admission to MBA/ MMS colleges under MH-CET will be based on CAP which is carried out by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.

MH CET LAW 2017

MH CET Law is conducted for admission to undergraduate law programs including five year integrated programs in the government law colleges of Maharashtra. MH CET Law is also known as Maharashtra Law CET. The application process for MH CET Law will commence online in May. The exam is conducted online and is objective in nature.

MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to fulfill following eligibility criterion for appearing in MH CET Law 2017 Exam:

  • For 5 year integrated LLB program academic eligibility is 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks for general category candidate. For 3 year LLB program eligibility required is a graduate or a post-graduate degree with a minimum of 45% marks for general category candidate.

MAH MCA CET 2017

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra conducts MAH MCA CET for entry to MCA programs offered at state government colleges.  The exam is conducted for admission to the first year or lateral second year of the MCA program.

MAH MCA CET 2017 Eligibility

Candidates should fulfil the following eligibility criterion to apply for MAH MCA-CET 2017:

  • Must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent from a recognized university in India.
  • Should have studied Mathematics subject either in 10+2 or Graduation.

To apply for MAH MCA CET 2017, candidates can fill the application forms online anytime from February 28 to March 10, 2017.

To register for the exam, candidates must follow the steps given below:

  1. Visit the website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mca2017 and click “Apply Online”. This would open a new window where you have to click “Click here for New Registration”
  2. On the Registration page, fill up the online form which requires Personal Details and Educational Qualifications.
  3. Upload a scanned copy of photograph and signature.
  4. Click ‘Payment’ tab to submit the application Fees.
  5. Click ‘Submit’ to submit the application and application fees.

The admit cards will contain the details of exam venue as well as details filled by candidate at the time of application process such as name, date of birth and will also contain the registration number of the candidate.

MAH MCA CET 2017 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

MAH-MCA CET is a one hour and thirty minutes exam which is divided into two papers of 100 marks each. The exam has a total of 50 multiple choice questions from topics like Computer concepts and General Aptitude. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

  • The marks/ score obtained in MAH-MCA CET 2017 will be used for preparing the merit list.
  • Candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list will be required to fill Preference form that will be made available from the regional centre allotted to the candidate. Candidates without preference forms will not be allowed to sit for counselling.
  • The Counselling Process includes Document Verification, Demand Draft of part payment of non-refundable fees, Choice filling, choice locking, and allotment of seat and admission confirmation.
  • The information regarding the dates of Counselling Rounds will be made available to the candidates soon. Candidates can view the Counselling details on www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mca2017  website.

MAH MCA CET 2017 Cut Off
