What is GNM or General Nursing and Midwifery?

It is a three-year and six-month diploma course designed for candidates or students who wish to pursue their career in clinical nursing. This particular course [GNM] teaches students how to supervise and care for people who are sick or have been injured in order to help them gain recovery. Every college should have to obtain approval from the Indian nursing council for running this course.

GNM or General Nursing and Midwifery course basically focus on providing skills and knowledge associated with patient care and clinical treatment.

GNM Nursing: Eligibility –

-Aspirants must have finished their class 12th through science stream, biology subject should be included.

-Moreover, students should have attained at least 50% marks in the class 12th exam. Some of the top medical colleges offering Nursing courses ask for 60% marks.

-It is mandatory for the candidates to attain the minimum number of marks required in their GNM

Nursing Entrance Exam Result.
