JEE Advanced 2018 Admit Card will be released in second week of May 2018. The admit card will be available in online mode only, candidates will have to visit the official website and enter necessary details. Admit cards for JEE Advanced are released only for those who qualify JEE Main exam.

JEE or Joint Entrance Exam is generally divided in two sections- JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The exam is primarily conducted for students prior to their admission in any of the IITs across the country. How to download JEE Advanced 2018 Admit Card

The admit card for the JEE Advanced 2018 will be available on the official website only. Candidates will not obtain it through any other means. It must be noted that the admit card will be available for those who successfully qualify in JEE Main exam. The following steps will guide the candidates about procedure involved in downloading the admit card:

  1. Go to the official website- http://www.jeeadv.ac.in.
  2. Select ‘Examination’ tab and click on ‘Admit Card’ option.
  3. Enter Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  4. The admit card will appear on your computer screen, download it and secure its copy till the admission process is completed.

Discrepancy in Hall Ticket of JEE Advanced 2018

Candidates may face difficulty to access admit cards for JEE Advanced 2018 because of the following reasons:

Error of the Server

At times when there is severe online traffic, the online portal gets down or stops responding which results in candidate’s inability to download admit cards. Once, traffic gets cleared and the server starts responding candidates can download their admit card. It should be noted that clearance of heavy online traffic is quite lengthy and may take a day or two.

Providing wrong information

While downloading the admit card, if candidate happens to enter wrong details such as incorrect registration number or the date of birth, he/she will not be able to download the same. Thus, in order to avoid such situation, aspirants should make sure that they enter correct details.

Partial filling of application form

Aspirants must satisfy all the details stated in the registration form while filling it up. They must check the form again before submitting. Incomplete information and failure to pay examination fee will result in the cancellation of the application procedure. Hence, no admit card will be issued to the respective student.
