The university has created a school for computer science and engineering, computer applications, and related fields to incorporate everything under the umbrella of the School of Computing. Hostel Facilities
The hostel’s accommodations consist of well-appointed, hygienic, and ultramodern apartments in the American style. Each apartment contains three rooms shared by two students, a lobby, and bathrooms that are attached.
Meal Facilities
All residences have modern, fully-equipped kitchens and dining rooms where food is prepared and served in hygienic conditions. To ensure an environment free of pests, pest control services are used.
The students have access to purified cold and warm water (during the winter) at all times. The Weekly menu is well-planned in cooperation with the Students’ Mess Committee to present the students with a range of wholesome, nutritional cuisine.
Other Facilities
The hostel has a common TV room, vending machines, stationary, barber, bakery, beverage shops, etc. There are also sports facilities for students for both indoor and outdoor facilities. The campus of the hostel has an excellent, contemporary gym with a trainer. The entire hostel is equipped with Wi-Fi, and there is a separate computer centre with internet access available 24 hours a day.
Cafeteria
The university provides a hygienic dining environment. There are three cafeterias located in separate campus blocks. Similar to CCD, cafeterias and other eateries operate under the concept of pay and eat. On-campus, DIT University provides students with all the modern conveniences and facilities necessary to enjoy a metropolitan lifestyle.

The DIT University, Dehradun has a library which consists of various e-journals, newsletters, textbooks, magazines, and necessary study material required for students and faculty members.
Medical Facilities
The clinic at DIT University provides First Aid and limited outpatient medical services to the DIT University faculty, staff, and students. A female medical officer is present on campus for the majority of the day, and nursing staff and an ambulance are available around-the-clock. The clinic is administered and managed by qualified and skilled doctors from the renowned Max Super Speciality Hospital Dehradun.

- Various Soft Skill Training programmes have been developed to help individuals improve their social manners, communication skills and other aspects of their interactions with others.
- Students will receive 40 hours of Value Added Training related to particular software that will help them improve their technical skills.
