Bachelor of Technology [B. Tech] + Master of Technology [M. Tech] is a dual degree course.
Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] + Master of Technology [M.Tech] is a five-year long course. Candidates passed in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a recommended minimum percentage may apply for this course. The tuition fee for Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] + Master of Technology [M.Tech] ranges from INR 1,50,000 to INR 4,50,000. Candidates can seek an entry to this course through JEE Main and several other national and state level entrance exams. The entrance mode in this course is entrance test. The tests for admission are held all India level as well as a state.
The duration of Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] + Master of Technology [M.Tech] is five years which is divided into ten semesters.For first six semesters, the students will be taught B.Tech curriculum. A choice of electives in an area of specialization is given seventh and eight semesters. It is followed by 14-month project related to an industrial problem.
This course aims at acquainting the students with the mathematical and metallurgical principles and their application in development, design and operational evaluation of metal components of load bearing, transmission, power, structural, and moving system. It also prepares the students to be able to analyze engineering problems like a creep, alloy behavior, stress, environmental fluctuations, failure, optimal manufacturing process, electromagnetic and thermodynamic characteristics and stability. The objective of this course is to equip the students with specialized knowledge and innovative perspective on it. It enables the students to think expertly in a creative way and come up with innovative ideas to tackle the aforesaid problems. It equips the students with organizational and research skills.
