Overview :
B.J.M.C. or Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication is an undergraduate Mass Communication course. The degree course provides the students with basic journalistic skills in various mass media, to expose students to recent developments in media issues and media research, to strengthen the foundations for various technologies involved in mass media like computer applications, respective software and hardware in print, radio, television, internet and the likes. This program would enable the students to work in various media like print, radio, television, internet, and in related fields. Students can start a full-fledged career in journalism or venture into freelancing. The duration of the course is three years and its syllabus is divided into six semesters; it is also career offering in nature.
B.J.M.C. or Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication Eligibility:
- They should have 10+2 / Intermediate pass or equivalent from any stream/subjects.
- Candidates appearing/appeared in qualifying examinations may also apply.
- The course is suitable for those who are interesting in investigation and reporting of happenings, issues, trends and stories around the world to a vast audience through mediums like newspapers, magazine, television, the internet etc.
- They should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
