About Bachelor of Physiotherapy

BPT- Bachelor of Physiotherapy is an undergraduate program that pacts with the structure of the human body. This course is for 4 years along with six months of internship. People who look forward to pursuing their career in Physio can take the BPT course. BPT teaches post-fracture maneuvers, physical movement, hip pains, injury, etc. Physiotherapy is a treatment that is carried through forces including – mechanical pressure, heat, electricity, and mechanical forces. Physiotherapists have a great understanding of the human anatomy and elaborateness of bones, nerves, and muscles.

During the 4-year course, students develop an understanding of the human body on the basis of medical science. Moreover, students learn to deal with the physical movement of the body focusing to cure disorders of the aspirants. After the completion of this course, students have several career options.

Fees Details of BPT- Bachelor of Physiotherapy

The course is offered in the country at an average annual course fee ranging between INR 1 – INR 5 Lakhs.
However, the fee could vary from college to college.

Eligibility of BPT- Bachelor of Physiotherapy

 ➡ Students must have completed their class 12 from a recognized educational board, in the Science stream, with subjects including – Chemistry, Biology, and Physics [main subjects].

 ➡ Minimum aggregate score of 50% or identical CGPA at the 10+2 level [45% for SC/ST/OBC students]

 ➡ Students must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission.
