Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates, who satisfy or likely to satisfy the following relevant eligibility requirements for admission to Post Graduate courses will be considered eligible to appear for the BLDEU-PGET-2016 and subsequently for admission to the course

Eligibility requirements to appear for BLDEU-PGET-2016 and admission to the medical Post Graduate Diploma and Degree Courses are:

(i) The candidates seeking admission to these courses should have passed MBBS from the college recognized by Medical Council of India

(ii) As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be:

a) General category 50%

b) SC/ST & OBC (OBC as declared by Govt. of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40%

c) Candidates with 40% to 70% Locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45%

(iii) The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship/would be completing by 30th April 2016

(iv) Foreign/PIO/NRI students are exempted from BLDEU-PGET-2016

Note: Eligibility criteria changes if any, effected by MCI or any other competent Regulatory Authorities shall be adopted

Admission Fee

The candidate has to pay the tuition fees and other fee at the time of allotment of seat, by demand draft drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, BLDE University, Vijayapura (Bijapur)’, payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103, Karnataka

The candidate shall submit an undertaking by the parents/guardians towards payment of fees for entire period of course in the event of discontinuation of course

Selection Procedure

Seat selection: The candidates will be allowed to exercise option and to select seat in the order of merit. Counseling is divided into sessions; the candidate will be allowed to participate in accordance with the notified time schedule and stipulated rank ranges only

The candidates who do not opt for any seat will receive their originals after counseling

The presence of candidate is compulsory for counseling, since it involves Biometrics, photo and signature verification; only one person (parent/guardian) will be permitted to accompany the candidate during counseling

Application Form is available online at http://www.bldeu.in. Only those candidates, who satisfy or likely to satisfy the following relevant eligibility requirements for admission to Post Graduate courses will be considered eligible to appear for the BLDE PGET 2016 and subsequently for admission to the courses

Hard copy of the generated application form along with relevant enclosures should be sent to the University

If paid through DD please ensure that: Demand Draft for Rs.4000/- is drawn in favour of “The Registrar, BLDE University, payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103”

The completed form shall be sent to “The Registrar, BLDE University, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103”, Karnataka State, India
