Jhalawar Medical College (JMC), Jhalawar was established in 2007.
The college is affiliated to the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
The college is managed and run by Jhalawar Hospital and Medical College Society, under Government of Rajasthan. Jhalawar Medical College is attached to a hospital, which has the capacity of accommodating 500 beds.
Currently, the college conducts course in medical science, at undergraduate level. The new Hospital and College started functioning from 27th March 2008.
The first batch was admitted in 2008 through RPMT.
The institute’s infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.
The Hospital consists of three blocks the main block is a four storied building consisting inpatient departments and various patient related facilities.
The institution is situated in Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The campus has separate academic, administrative and student block and provides all the necessary facilities for the recreation and all round development for the students.
The institution provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls along with the mess facility. It has air-conditioned lecture halls with the facility of LCD, OHP and laptop. The institution has a library which has a collection of books, journals and project report. The institution has a well-facilitated computer centre. It has an amphitheatre for various cultural events, a conference hall and also provide various other recreational facilities like sports facility, cafeteria etc.

Jhalawar Medical College offers undergraduate course in the medical field. The institution offers degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. The duration of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme is four and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year.
