Ch.Devi Lal (CDL) College of Ayurveda, Yamuna Nagar was established in 2002 under Ch. Devi Lal Group of Institutes by Pt. Ram Swaroop Ji, chairman of the institution. It has got all ultramodern scientific facilities to impart best and vast knowledge to the Ayurvedic Medical Students learning in this institution. It is globally known that Ayurveda is in the sence of mankind from the very beginning of this universe & for all living being of total 300 geographical space. The aim of the college is to set up an affiliated and approved management institute and provide quality education so as to prepare managers for the corporate world under the influence of fast growing globalization.
Ch. Devi lal college of Ayurveda was established in the year 2002. The institution imparts academic education and career in the medical field and is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.
The institution is located in north-east belt on Buria village road which is about 4 km from Jagadhri general bus stand, 8 km. from main railway station, Jagadhri and ½ km in west from Buria Gurudwara towards Jagadhri.
The institution has a well-stocked audio-video library with a gathering of books, journals, magazines and project reports. The institution provides separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls along with the mess facility. It has air-conditioned lecture theatres equipped with the modern communication system to facilitate learning-teaching process. The institution has a well-facilitated computer centre. Ch. Devi Lal College of Ayurveda offers undergraduate programme in the medical field. The institution offers degree in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.). The duration of the course is five and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year. The candidates those want to pursue Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in qualifying examination taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50%.
