Moradabad Institute Of Technology (Hindi: मुरादाबाद प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान) is an educational institution in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in the year 1996 by Moradabad Educational Trust under the Self Financing Scheme of the Government of India.
The Campus extends in an area of 13 acres (53,000 m2) at the banks of Ram Ganga river in a pollution-free environment. It is located five km from the Moradabad railway station, a city which is famous throughout the world for brass art ware and is known as Brass City of India.
Moradabad Institute of Technology (MIT) is a private, self-financed and co-educational institution, set up by the Moradabad Educational Trust. The MIT was established in the year 1996. The MIT is affiliated to the UP Technical University, Lucknow. The MIT is approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The MIT is also approved by the UP Board of Technical Education and the State Government of UP.
The MIT campus is situated in the Ram Ganga Vihar, Phase-II in the city heart of the district Moradabad (UP). The campus is just 5 km away from the Moradabad Railway Station. The nearest Airport of the college is the IGI, New Delhi at 200 km away from the campus. The MIT campus is built over in area of 13 acres of land.
Students & Faculty:
The MIT was started initially with an intake of just 160 students in three B.Tech programmes. At present, the college has an annual intake capacity of the students in all programmes is 996 students and the present students strength is 3075 students. The faculty strength of the college is in the ratio of 1:15 (teacher-student ratio). The college has more than 100 faculty members.

The MIT offers the 4-year full-time B.Tech degree programme in nine disciplines and 2-year full-time M.Tech programmes in two disciplines of engineering and technology and an MBA programme in four disciplines of management study. The main engineering branches offered by MIT are as the following:
