NEET Result 2017 will be declared on 8th June 2017. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) conducts National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). It is a national level entrance test organizes for admission into MBBS and BDS courses. These courses offered by various government and private colleges of India. Candidates can check their NEET results through online process only. No score card will be sent to the candidates via offline mode. For SC/ST candidates, no separate result will be declared. The merit list will be prepared of eligible candidates on the basis of NEET result. Candidates will be called for the NEET 2017 counselling process on the basis of merit list.
The minimum NEET cut-off marks to qualify the NEET exam is 50% (For General category) & 40% (For reserved Category). Candidates can check the NEET answer key before the result declaration. The answer key helps the candidates to estimate the minimum score secured in the entrance exam. The answer key will be released in the second week of May 2017.

NEET Result Declaration Date
The NEET entrance exam will be organized through pen & paper mode. It may be conducted on 7th May 2017. After one month of the entrance test, the result will be declared. It will be announced on 8th June 2017. The counselling procedure will be started after the result declaration. The NEET 2017 Rank will be released before counselling start. - Enter your registration number, date of birth & verification code.
- Click on the “Submit” button.

- Take the print copy of the result for further reference.
NEET 2017 Score Card Details
The score card of NEET 2017 exam will be valid only for one year (for the session 2017-18). The score card will be available via online mode. Details mentioned in the score card are given below:

NEET 2017 Answer Key
The answer key will be released within one week after the examination. Candidates can check the answer key via online mode through the website. With the help of answer key, students can calculate their rough marks they are going to score in the examination. The NEET answer key 2017 will bear the correct answers of all the questions asked in the examination.
The authority shall also provide the facility to challenge against the answer key. Students can challenge the answer key within the prescribed dates. Candidates can challenge the answer key via online mode with the payment of Rs. 1000/- per answer. If the challenge is accepted by the authority, the payment will be refunded to candidates.
NEET 2017 Merit List
The merit list will be prepared as per the candidate’s performance in the NEET exam. The merit list for 15% All India Quota will be prepared by Central Board of Education (CBSE) board. Candidates will get admission in colleges or universities as per their position in the merit list. The rank list will be published through online mode.
NEET 2017 Merit List Tie-Breaking Criteria
In order to prepare the merit list, the authority shall use the tie-breaking method. In case candidates score equal marks in the NEET examination, tie-breaking method will be considered. The tie-breaking mention of NEET 2017 exam is mentioned below:
- Students obtaining higher marks in Biology subject in NEET 2017 exam.
- Students securing higher marks in Chemistry subject in NEET 2017 exam.
- Candidates with less number of wrong question attempts in all subjects of NEET exam.
- After applying all the above methods of tie breaking the tie remain, students older in age will be considered.

NEET 2017 Counselling
Candidates who have scored the marks under the released cut-off will be able to participate in the counselling process. NEET 2017 Counselling process will be organized in the month of June 2017. Counselling process will be conducted through online process. Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats (MBBS/BDS) will be regulated by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). During the counselling process, candidates have to choose their preferences of colleges for admission. Seats will be allotted to candidates as per filled preferences, secured rank and availability of seats in colleges. Counselling for other 85% state quota seats will be administrated by the respective counselling authority.
