NEET 2017 Admit Card has been released on 22nd April. The admit card can be downloaded through online mode only. NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is a national level entrance test. It is regulated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET is conducted to get admission into medical & dental programmes. The National Eligibility and Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS/ dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, are conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET-UG replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves in 2013. However, many colleges and institutes had taken a stay order and conducted private examinations for admission to their MBBS and BDS courses.
Undergraduate courses at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, Postgraduate Institute for Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, Jawarharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research JIPMER are outside the NEET’s purview, as these institutes were set up by separate laws.
NEET 2017 Admit Card Details
The admit card for the NEET exam contain the following details of the candidates:
- Roll Number and the name of the candidate
- Father’s Name
- Date of Birth
- Language of Question Paper
- Name and Address of examination centre allotted to candidate
In case of any discrepancy found in the admit card, candidates are advised to immediately contact the officials.
Document Required with Admit Card on Exam Day
Candidates who have downloaded their NEET 2017 admit card must bring the following documents at the exam centre.
One Post Card size photograph:
- Bring one post card photo (Size – 4X6 inch) with a white background.
- The photograph must include the candidate name and the date of taking the photograph.
- The photograph must be taken on or after January 1, 2017.
- The candidate must mention their name, application form number, roll number of examination on the back side of the photograph.
- This post card size photograph will be affixed on performa.
Passport size photograph:
- Bring one passport size photograph with a white background.
- The photograph should clearly indicate the name of the candidate along the date of taking the photograph.

- Click on the link “Admit Card”.
- Fill your registration number, date of birth & security pin.
- Click on “Submit” button.
- Keep the printout of the admit card for further use.

NEET 2017 Admit Card Date
The NEET exam will be held on 7th May 2017. The exam will be organized through offline mode (pen and paper based mode). Candidates can get their admit card from 22nd April 2017. The admit card is available only through online mode.
Candidates have to download the NEET admit card to appear in the examination. The admit card is issued through online process. No admit card will be sent to the students by post. Candidates can download the admit card from official link. Link has been provided above in the notification section. The admit card will comprise candidate name, father’s name, category, roll number, exam center, NEET Exam Date, date of birth, photograph, signature, etc. Candidates can save the admit card till the admission process will not completed.
After downloading the admit card, candidates have to check all the details given in the admit card is correct or not. If candidates found any discrepancy in the admit card details, they have to immediately contact to the exam conducting authority. Read the instructions printed on the admit card. If there are any particular documents mentioned in the instructions keep them ready to carry for the exam.
NEET 2017 Exam Centres
The candidates must check the location of their examination centre before the exam day. Also, make sure the distance and the traffic status from your area to the exam centre. If your exam is out of station then make sure to make proper arrangements to reach the exam centre well in advance.
NEET 2017 is scheduled to be held in 104 cities across the country. From this year CBSE has added the 24 new cities in the list of the NEET 2017 exam centres due to the increased number of the registered candidates.
